In the daily operation of industrial equipment, the noise generated by rolling bearings is a common and complex problem. Understanding the reasons behind it and taking appropriate preventive measures are crucial to extending the service life of bearings and ensuring the stable operation of mechanical equipment.
The main cause of noise
Rolling bearings may produce noise during use for a variety of reasons. First of all, the wear of the matching surface of the inner and outer rings will lead to the failure of the match between the bearing and the bearing seat, and between the bearing and the shaft, so that the shaft deviates from the correct position, and abnormal noise is generated at high speed. In addition, when the bearing fatigue, the surface metal stripping will increase the radial clearance, resulting in noise. Insufficient lubrication is also an important cause of noise, a lack of lubrication can lead to dry friction, which can produce abnormal sounds. Finally, the internal fracture of the bearing will also lead to abnormal noise.
Precautions for routine maintenance
In order to reduce the noise of rolling bearings and extend their life, the following aspects should be paid attention to in daily maintenance:
Reaper riveted parts processing: Parts such as moving blade assembly and rivets are usually manufactured by cold extrusion. These parts should not be treated with heat, as heat reduces the strength of the material. After riveting is completed, a forming punch is applied to enhance the robustness of the blade and handle.
Maintenance of vulnerable parts: Especially key parts such as shafts, presses, bushings and gaskets, additional grease should not be added at will during maintenance. Long-term use of wear parts will affect the service life of other mechanical parts.
Unbalanced shaft repair: To repair various shafts, a thrust bearing can be installed on one end and clamped using a lathe with three claws, and the other end can be clamped using a center frame until balance is reached. Try to use screws to fix the balance process and avoid welding.
Bearing material selection: Taking into account the variety of bearing material models and procurement is not easy, you can consider the use of waste shaft processing. In China, many shafts are made of No. 45 carbon steel, which can be quenched and tempered by simple methods if necessary.
Processing of sleeve parts: tighten the oil groove in the sleeve hole as much as possible. For areas where refueling is difficult, butter or heavy oil can also be used in addition to nylon tubing. Nylon sleeve can withstand a certain impact without deformation.
Pulley and shaft keys and keyway repair: ensure that the size is accurate, do not increase the size of the key so as not to affect the strength of the shaft. The keyway on the shaft can be repaired by welding and re-milled in the opposite direction of the old keyway.
Maintenance of the hydraulic part of the harvester: includes removing the distributor and flow reducing valve, pressurizing the pipe with an air pump, and filtering and draining the hydraulic oil during secondary loading. The sealing parts should be replaced with new ones after removal.
By understanding the causes of rolling bearing noise and taking the above targeted prevention and maintenance measures, it can not only effectively reduce the noise, but also significantly extend the service life of the bearing and ensure the smooth operation of mechanical equipment. This not only improves work efficiency, but also brings more convenience and economic benefits to industrial production.
